Ingredients

For the Pancake Batter

  • 125 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 25 g melted butter
  • 10 g sugar + 1 pinch of salt

Samosa Filling

  • 2 QTee® pears
  • 60 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g hazelnuts
  • Butter for frying

Serves: 8

Preparation time: 45 minutes

Preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients for the pancake batter in the bowl of a blender and mix until smooth. (You can also make the batter by hand: first put the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and gradually add the liquid ingredients while stirring).
  2. Bake the pancakes in a hot, lightly greased pan. Pour a little batter into the pan and swirl to distribute it over the entire surface. Wait 1 minute and flip the pancake. Place the baked pancake on a plate and repeat until all the batter is used up.
  3. Peel the pears and cut them into cubes. Fry them for 5 minutes over high heat with a little butter. Place them in a bowl and let them cool.
  4. Chop the chocolate and hazelnuts into pieces.
  5. Folding the samosas: Cut the pancakes in half. Fold the round side over the straight side to create a long strip. Place some pear cubes, chocolate pieces and hazelnuts on one end of this strip. Fold the corner over for the first time to form a triangle and repeat this folding in a triangular shape until you reach the other end. The samosa is now ready. Repeat this with the rest of the pancakes and ingredients.
  6. Optional, for crispy samosas and melted chocolate: Heat a knob of butter in a large pan and fry the samosas on both sides until golden brown before serving.
