Ingredients
Makes 15 Cookies
- 150 g milk chocolate
- 80 g brown sugar
- 30 g pecans
- 150 g flour
- 75 g unsalted butter
- 50 g salted butter
- 1/2 egg
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 QTee® pear
Serves: 6 people
Prep: 35 minutes
Preparation
- Put the brown sugar and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix. Add the beaten egg and mix again.
- In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
- Chop the milk chocolate and add it to the flour mixture.
- Add the flour mixture to the sugar–butter mixture. Mix until you get a smooth dough ball.
- Chill the dough for 30 to 60 minutes. This helps it firm up so it’s easier to work with.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the QTee® pear into small cubes.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Leave enough space between them. Gently flatten the balls and press the pear pieces and pecans on top.
- Bake the cookies for about 8 to 12 minutes (keep an eye on them; time may vary by oven). Remove from the oven and let them cool. They’ll firm up slightly as they cool but stay wonderfully soft inside.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container.
